Within the first week we have built a proof of concept of the intake and storage. We started the serialized belt after storage concept, did't get very far, but the basic concept is there.

We started a basic cad model and waiting for an actual Cad person to help us
We have picked the two part intake to serial system by adding a duel roller system
We picked the PG27 Planetary Gearbox with 9015 Motor (am-2542) as the power
2-1 pulley system to speed up the intake
Waiting on restraints on storage size
Looking at belt and pulley sizes
To power the intake we will use a pulley and belt system. Where the intake is spinning twice as fast as the motor. The smallest pulley has 15 teeth and a diameter of 1.188" the link to the gear is here https://www.mcmaster.com/#1277N45 (https://www.mcmaster.com/#1277N45). The distance between the two pulleys will be 12 inches.
