I've been thinking about building a new pit for some time. By this I mean a new look and feel; something that will give some identity. The ideal setup would have a L&F for the team plus a customizable part for the year's challenge.
We currently have a very large banner that we use at the rear of the pit. The new arcade console will go on the end of the work-table and replace the low red shelves that used to hold the batteries. Now to frame the entrance and make it interesting !? ...

It's looking more and more that our first iteration of the new pit will have a front projector and rear display - meaning the project is mounted near the front of the pit and the screen is at the rear where our banner normally lives. In order to allow a projection point away from the center-line, the display needs to be keystoned but the projector we're using only allows vertical keystoning, not horizontal. We'll need additional software to handle this.
