I have started planning out the electrical system that will be built on the robot. Right now, almost everything will be put under the ball bucket. The router and the light will be above the swerve drive on the gear side of the robot.

Leftover stuff to do. We should be able to get these done tonight and tomorrow

  • mount pan onto chassis
  • connect all motor power wires. Most have been cut and mounted to one side; they just need to be trimmed to length and wired to other side
  • ... remember to use conduits where needed
  • ... add plastic stick-on tie-downs as needed
  • ... and strap things down for strain relief and provide service loops
  • finalize encoder cable. This will most likely require PWM cable extenders or custom cables to be built.
  • make battery cable and wire it up.
  • make battery caddy and strap
  • add one more spare Spark controller and relay
  • Gear servo/camera needs to be mounted - keep as removable unit in case we want it out of the bag.
  • wire up PWM cables
  • add robot light
  • add wifi router
  • add bling and bling controller
  • add Microsoft USB camera; mount and connect
