Some comments/input...
General:
Listings of 2x2 aluminum, 1x1 aluminum, 3/4x3/4 aluminum, aluminum L bracket, etc are listed in metal stock lists as aluminum angle. All of ours are .125 thick except for some small limit switch mounts, which are 0.050" thick.
All shafts on the robot are high carbon steel keyed shaft.
Chassis:
"2x2 aluminum stock" should read 2x2x.125 angle
There are added absolute encoders on the swerve units along with the coupling gears and shaft collars that go with them.
Intake (From Zach's post):
"L" bracket should read 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/8 steel angle
The LDPE is 1/2" thick
The intake shaft is high carbon steel keyed shaft from AndyMark
The bearing blocks are BaneBots P60 blocks.
The chain is #25 chain
Add the VHB tape used to secure the foam. Probably about 8 to 10 feet total.
Climber:
The 1x1 and 2x2 are .125" angle. This may change.
The bearing is a BaneBots p80 bearing block
The steel stock will be gone except for the 2 to 4 square inches used for the ratchet pawl.
Add about 4" of keyed 1/2" shaft
Add velcro hook
The rest is close enough. We can update with the final design.
The springs run $1.00 to $1.50 at Ace
Rope:
6 feet of 3 strand 1/4" twisted nylon rope
Velcro loop, probably a few feet woven in with the rope strands
probably some nylon twine for whipping and securing the velcro
Hopper:
The slippery sheeting is teflon oven liner. About $10 worth from Amazon. This is attached with CS Hyde 2 inch wide PTFE Coated Fiberglass with Silicone Adhesive, about 4 feet total at $18 for a 5 yard roll.
There are 4 limit switches including two spares in case we add a second motor.
The pushing struts are 1/4" flat aluminum stock totaling about 25 square inches
Add two 1/4" bronze bushings
Add HiTec HS-5685MH servo and about 2 inches of 1/2" x 1/2" LDPE for the link to the launching flap
The only PE on the hopper is about 1 square foot at the top of the pusher, and it is 1/4" HDPE
The 3/4x3/4 and 1x1 aluminum listed is .125 thick angle
Other aluminum and plastic is close enough
Zach's camera mount listing:
2 by 2 aluminum is 2x2x.125 angle
Electrical:
Don't forget the encoder cables for the absolute and PG71 motor encoders.
Power cable for the router
